Removing Logial Volume

Hi there:
I've searched the forum but haven't find something related to this:

I'm trying to remove a logical volume:
rmlv -f rdhwslv

But i'm getting this message:
0516-1008 rmlv: Logical volume rdhwslv must be closed. If the logical
volume contains a filesystem, the umount command will close
the LV device.

Volume contains no file-system.

How could i close it to could remove?

Thanks in advance.

This will be very specific to the exact OS is use. Please post the out out of "uname -a".

this must be AIX. This device might be used as paging space or a log device.

Please post the output of the following commands.

Code:
lslv rdhwslv
lsvg -l vg_name

I've found out what i'm doing wrong:
An application, DB2 in this case, was working on this volume so i can't remove it.
When i stopped DB2 database there was no problem to remove this lv.

Thank you.
