ftp - Connection close
Hi
Can someone help me what is the problem, when i try to login via ftp, though i entered the correct password, i got an error message

Connection refused.

please help. thanks

"Connection refused" normally means that ftpd is not actually enabled on the far end.

If you are being prompted for username and password, it's probably running the ftpd ok.

If you are seeing a connection refused, it can be because the ftpd is being told to deny access to your userid (config file of allowed users) or because your password has expired.
