Time syncronization

Hello all,

I would like to know if anybody ever had to do time syncronization between different Unix Flavours ( Solaris, AIX, HP-UX, Linux). I was thinking about using NTP. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks in advance...

Hi

I know that there is also a xntp package. But I don't know how they differ from each other.

I was actually think of the same thing (running NTP).
Check out http://www.time.gov for some information on the subject.

xntp works fine between different unix flavors - NT can also get it's time from a unix ntp server.

Check out the web site www.ntp.org.
