mail alias

Is there anyway to alias the sending mail address.

At the moment I have something like below

and I want to do this

Legion DW - BIDB.D []

Is this possible? Also I am trying to attach a file to the mail and have not been successful. Below is the code I am using.

uuencode ${BILL_WORKING_DIR}/$filename ${BILL_WORKING_DIR}/$filename | mail -s "Billing Group File" $location < $tmpbody

Am I doing something wrong and can someone please point me in the right direction to achieve this.

With $location set to a valid email address, try

uuencode ${BILL_WORKING_DIR}/$filename | mail -s "Billing Group File" $location

Thanks that works. My only issue with this solution is that the email has no message body, due to removing the < $tmpbody (which inserted the body message from a file). Is there another way to insert a message body?
