Hey, need to mount the following below, and new ish to unix.. what is the process.. thanks Smilie

What are you doing and what are you running?

Have you just partitioned a disk? If so the next step is normally to create a file system on it with "newfs" or whatever.

HI, just need to mount this disk, and not format or partition, i need the information on this disk, ran format to understand the disk id, but not sure how to mount?

what slice do you want to mount? Replace X with the slice number.

mount -F ufs /dev/dsk/c1t0d0sX /mnt

I assume i need to edit /etc/vfstab? or is there a command / function via format to add this?
