What do you mean by "unix for Windows XP", do you mean "Microsoft Services For UNIX"?

Tell us what you are trying to download and from where and what you are expecting to get.

1. What are you going to use it for?

2. What machine are you going to put it on?

3. What implementation, Solaris, Linux, Net/Free/OpenBSD?

4. What distribution are you going to use?

"Windows XP Home Edition" is an operating system, not a machine.

Are you intending a dual-boot solution?

I think you are misunderstanding something fundamental. . . .

Unix is not a program you download and install. It is a whole new OS. So you can't download "Unix for Windows XP" like you said. If you install Unix you won't have Windows XP any more.

You can do a dual boot solution where you can boot your computer to XP or Unix, but not both at the same time.
