DHCB not found
I have an error that says "NO DHCB DHCBproxy" kind of thing when I try to boot freeBSD from a bootable cd. I tried various linux cds everytime I took this error. Suse and mandrake setup couldnt find cd-rom device. But there is not a problem with my dvd-rom. Any comments about the problem?

Maybe it was DHCP instead? That is another computer that will assign an IP address dynamically at boot up time. My dsl "modem" runs dhcp. I'm not sure ho wthose live cd's are supposed to work without dhcp... I don't use them. But without dhcp, really the only way I can think of would be to type in the networking info with each boot.

Yes that is DHCP . Typing error. No DHCPProxy offered it says. But I cant get it. What does it have to do with network anyway? Isnt it just a ordinary boot? If not , can you explain me? How am I supposed to install FreeBSD??
