Hi,

I am using solaris 2.8. I want to find files not owned by a particular uid but find is saying -uid is a 'bad' option

man find on this machine gives me info on the c++ library 'find' not the normal user command.

Man find on a Linux box talks about using -uid but Solaris does not like it.
Does anyone know if there is an equivalent -uid option for find under Solaris 2.8?

The equivalent option in Solaris is '-user'. You can supply either a username or a uid.
