Data Account

!HELLO SIR,

Can any one tell how to create a Account in SCOUNIX.

By using which commands . and what are steps i should have to follow to create a account.
# 2
First check you /etc/passwd for uid and gid.
uid Should be unique. gid should be the gid you want the user to be part of.

Then make the user using the useradd command

Code:
useradd -u [uid] -g [gid] -c [comment] -d [homedirectory] -m -s [shell] loginname

Next set the password for the user, by using the following command

Code:
passwd loginname

And read the man-pages on useradd.

Good luck
