Log in Problem
Hello:
I'm having the following problem when I try to log in to our Tru64 system, from any machine using root or any other user.
After entering the passowrd I get the following message:

and not being directed to the shell console.

I think it has something to do with the audit process which I tried to stop, but it didnt, so I killed on of its processes.

any ideas how to sove this log in problem???

I'm not sure for TRU64, but you can find the file where root credentials resides, and check the login shell; something like :

cat /etc/passwd
root:x:0:0:root:/root:/bin/bash
example on Solaris or BSD - "chsh" or "passwd -e" will change the shell. You need to login again then, but I'm not sure how does it work on TRU64. As a last resort, you can try to reboot.

I checked the /etc/passwd, All my users use /bin/ksh
I will try to reboot since it is an online server.
