ssh

Hello all,

I am new here and was wondering if someone can help me with installing ssh-1.2.32 . I have installed ssh on a Solaris 8 machine? I had config, make and make install. I've also check to see if the deamon is running, which it is. I'm lose at this point. All the infomation I got refers to make-known-hosts? If anyone can point me to information or help that would be great. Thanks ahead.Smilie

I suggest that you read carefully the following files in the ssh installation
direcroty:
README
INSTALL
configure
Makefile

Sometimes the "configure"/"Makefile" scripts has to receive some options to determine the host type. You can read the "configure"/"Makefile" scripts to have a good understanding of the installation.
