Compress files

Hi All,

I would like to archive some of the scripts below(USFINUM042006_01.CSV
USFINUM042006_02.CSV and USFINUM042006_03.CSV )and also use a wildcard e.g. <command> USFINUM*.CSV. Also there are a lot of similar files but I want only the three latest files to be compressed. Which is the best command to use and what is the best way to do this?
USFINUM042006_01.CSV
USFINUM042006_02.CSV
USFINUM042006_03.CSV
USFINUM042006_1.CSV
USFINUM042006_2.CSV
US5FINUM072006.CSV.0727_1020.Z USFINUM042006_3.CSV
US5FINUM072006.CSV.0731_0932.Z USFINUM082006.CSV
US5FINUM092006.CSV

Thanks a lot.

Regards,
Indira
