list file's by size order in sepecfied directory and sub directories

How do I list files of type "*.file" for example by size order recursively ?

find ... sort

One way is to use the find command with sort as an output filter..... you will need to set a few easy flag/switches with each command.
# 3

You could try something like this if you don't care that each directories' contents alre all mixed together....

ls -lR | sort -bn +4 (smallest to largest)

or

ls -lR | sort -bnr +4 (largest to smallest)
