passwords changing
Hello everyone let me start off by saying happy new year to all

I am new to this board.

I am running a multipurpose server (web/ftp/email) it runs apache 1.3.20 i think it is and Qmail
would I would like to do is find/create a script that will allow my users to change there unix password from a secured website.
this of course has to be secure and safe
the reason i want to use this is because I have users on my server like my Mom (email mostly) that dont know how to use unix so when she wants to changer her password I dont like to have to get her to telnet and stuff
and with over 200 users its getting pretty hard for me to change it for them know what i meen

My suggestion would be to insure that your Apache web server is configured to work with PHP and then go to www.hotscripts.com and find a freeware server management package in PHP. You can modify one to suit your needs.

What is the best way to monitor who changes passwords, or what passwords get changed? Is there a way to send that over to Syslog?
