not the best, but you can try find

find . -type f \( -name "arch*.dbf" -a -name "*`date|cut -c5-10`*" \) -print0 | xargs -0 rm

Perderabo,
The following statment works like a charm ..

ls -l arch*.dbf|grep "`date|cut -c5-10`"| awk '{print $NF}' | xargs rm
