Help In Compaq Tru64 UNix
Hi,

I am new to UNIX. I need help in working with Compaq-UX TRU64 OS.
How It work FTP Server?
ANd MAil Server?

and I have apach pprogram project and it work as HTTP Server.


Also I need how can setup a new version of progrm on UNix like mozilla and adobe reader etc...........

Try searching the documentation for your version of TRU64 for the subjects you list. If you have specific questions about one, then post it. You should be able to figure out your version with the uname -a command.

The problem is , I am new user for unix and my comany have old server and want to run it as mail server and web server for sttaf and studaints so I want to fundmental of server generally and unix server specialy and what I need to run it server and make all tasks related with network administration .


I can start up and shutdown and copy and move file and creat a new account and all simple task in unix uesing command line and CDE

I'm using Tru64 UNIX 4.0 . I restarted the machine and I tried to log in again as an user I get a message saying No directory!. The system log me in as a superuser.
