mailx - out of the office

I'm using the mailx client on Solaris to read my email. I would like to know if it is possible to create an "Out of the Office" reply to the sender of email while I'm on vacation???

Use the vacation command. Smilie

Now that is sooo coool!!

I am always amazed at how versatile UNIX is. I have never heard of this command. I have it on HPUX 11.x.

mailx error message : mailx: NUL changed to @

If I use the "Mail" link instead of the "mail" link to ../mailx I get this error. Mail so-n-so @whatever.com mailx: NUL changed to @ Unknown command: "postmaster" The email still goes through but i get the error. If I use "mail" it goes thru without the error. Any ideas?? (2 Replies)

new office - no network connection!

We have just moved offices and in the same week recieved a SUN box from another company site. I'm attemting to connect this SUN box to the network, but i can't see it on the network.
