Data Not able to get the GUI display in Mandrake-10.2

Hi,
I am using Mandrake linux-10.2.When i reboot the kernel it is not going to X window system,it remains in the text mode only. I tried with startx afterwards, when i did startx this is what i was able to see and it returned to text mode.Does anybody know the solution to this problem??

This is what error is saying.

ctrl+alt+F1, F2, F3 is used to switch between GUI and command line mode.

try ctrl+alt+F10.

Was X11 ever working? You may need to configure it before you use it.

If you just need to get it to start automatically, you'll need to enable it with chkconfig or something, it depends on what mandrake's init system is.

mandrake 10 is pretty old. They don't even call that distro mandrake anymore, they've become mandiva.

Seems like your XOrg is trying to load fonts from xfs (exclusively, perhaps), but probably your xfs is not running or has other problems so no font can be loaded. Check xfs, and then xorg.conf.
