You can always search ebay for an old hp9000 - I saw a few up there last night for something $15 a piece (old, no monitor, etc). Other than that, your next step would be to drop at least $1000 for a new or refurbished workstation.

And don't hold your beath for someone to give it to you. It's not the most common warez trade. Either buy it, or find one of the many Unix variants that are free (Solaris, BSD, Linux, etc...)

Try eBay.... search for HP-UX

If you want free, suggest you use software that is free..... as mentioned in an earlier post. If you must have HP-UX and need to save money, the used HP market is the best place.... BTW: Did you try eBay??

Here is a current listing on eBay for HP-UX 11.0 on CD... currently $150.00 !!

EBAY: HP 9000 712/100 64mb, 2gb HP-UX 11.0 $139.00 ..... BUT IT NOW...

Thanks for the info folksss...

Guess I should go back to use FREEBSD UNIX huh...
Since it always my favorite. The reason I ask for HP-UX
unix was I want to use it to learn so I can get a chance to
show off my knowledge to my interviewer when searching
for job... but now I know that there are no version for
PC and cost too much to buy HP hardware... can't afford Smilie

Thanks again folks...

$139 to much ???

My apologies for a 'USA view'... but $139.00 for a working HP system with HP-UX 11.0 from eBay (but it now...) does not seem like a lot of money to learn something so important. If someone is really serious to learn HP-UX, this is a great bargain, after all HP-UX admins.
