Question uncompress pkzip files
Are there any unix/linux tools that can uncompress the "pkzip" files from DOS env.

Yes there are. There are several sites you can download it as freeware/shareware. Do a search for zip and unzip, those usually work pretty well. Unzip is also standard with Solaris 8 now. I am mostly a Sun guy and you can download unzip for sun at http://www.sunfreeware.com/. There are similar programs for other OSes.
