Question Windows NT?

I know this probably doesn't belong in a UNIX forum (I know you guys hate Microsoft) but I am trying to get used to it after using the Windows 9x and DOS operating systems. I was just wondering if someone could supply a couple of links to NT newbie sites...and I was also wondering about the file heirarchy. In Windows it went like "C:\" but in NT it varies differently because it no longer relies on DOS. Anyway, I could use some help! Thanks.

I should just flame you, but that's not the way to go...

NT does still follow the DOS heirarchy. The biggest change that win98 users have to get used to in navigating via a DOS window is that stuff goes in C:\WINNT, not C:\WINDOWS. Also, there isn't a C:\WINNT\START MENU... since eveything is owned by a user, you have to look in the PROFILES directory. If you want a program to show up in everyone's start menu, you have to add it to the start menu in ALL PROFILES.
Hope that helps, and please post Windows questions in a windows forum.
