Vsftpd

Hello
I am new to linux.
I have recently installed vsftpd in my Centos server. I have set the local_umask=0037.
But now i can't understand how the window users added in a centos server can see each-other folder.

Code:
local_umask=0037

Hmm, umask 0037 might allow other group members to browse directory contents but not access files or further directories. Does that make sense?
Try another umask
Code:
local_umask=0067

Not browse-able but access-able by group members (by typing a known file or further directory).

Thank you,but by setting local_umask=0067 will not allow the group users to read the files. It will only allow to execute it.
Still i can't allow the group users to see the files in filezilla.

i have set the VSFTPD as follow:
Code:
anonymous_enable=no
local_enable=YES
write_enable=YES
local_umask=0067
cmds_denied=DELE
dirmessage_enable=YES
xferlog_enable=YES
connect_from_port_20=YES
chown_uploads=YES
idle_session_timeout=60
data_connection_timeout=60
chroot_local_user=no
listen=YES
pam_service_name=vsftpd
userlist_enable=YES
tcp_wrappers=YES

With umask 0067 you cannot see the files, but you have the right to download them (invisible files). You need to know the filename and type it.
It might be possible to use a reference with the pathname (e.g. a bookmark).
If you want to see (list, browse) the files, then change the umask to 0027.

Still the users could'nt be able to see and read the files of group users.

The vsftpd umask is in addition to the file/directory permissions controlled by their owner (user). The owner must give access (x or xr for a directory) for the group.
