Print when certain column with same value

I have 2 files tobe compared

file 1
Code:
510100475741082|BB|LBGGKBPXRB|KEMILIGG|KORB BBGDBR LBMPXGG|LBMPXGG 1|LBMPXGG IGGER|LBMPXGG|LBMPXGG|SXMBBGSAL
510100000021247|BB|LBGGKBPXRB|KEMILIGG|KORB BBGDBR LBMPXGG|LBMPXGG 1|LBMPXGG IGGER|LBMPXGG|LBMPXGG|SXMBBGSAL

510100000021415|CC|PRBMXKB|RBJBBBSB|KORB BBGDBR LBMPXGG|LBMPXGG 1|LBMPXGG IGGER|LBMPXGG|LBMPXGG|SXMBBGSAL
510100000021416|CC|PRBMXKB|RBJBBBSB|KORB BBGDBR LBMPXGG|LBMPXGG 1|LBMPXGG IGGER|LBMPXGG|LBMPXGG|SXMBBGSAL
510100000021417|CC|PRBMXKB|RBJBBBSB|KORB BBGDBR LBMPXGG|LBMPXGG 1|LBMPXGG IGGER|LBMPXGG|LBMPXGG|SXMBBGSAL

File 2
Code:
628112804175|06.Xrteng-Xogyr|510100475741082
628112804166|05.Mrteng-Xogyr|510100000021377
628112804169|03.Grteng-Xogyr|0
628112804170|01.Brteng-Xogyr|0
628112804172|01.Brteng-Xogyr|510100000021345
628112804176|05.Trteng-Xogyr|0
628112804177|01.Urteng-Xogyr|0
628112804178|09.Orteng-Xogyr|0
628112807478|05.Prteng-Xogyr|0

I need to print file 2 when $4 in file 2 exists in $1 in file 1, so my expected output should be
Code:
628112804175|06.Xrteng-Xogyr|510100475741082
628112804166|05.Mrteng-Xogyr|510100000021377

I've tried this
Code:
awk -F"|" 'NR==FNR{a[$1]="Y";next}{if(a[$1]) print $0;}' m2.txt z1.txt

Hello radius,

Could you please try following command for same.
Code:
 awk -F"|" 'FNR==NR{A[$3]=$0;next} ($1 in A){print A[$1]}' file2 file1

Output will be as follows.
Code:
628112804175|06.Xrteng-Xogyr|510100475741082
628112804166|05.Mrteng-Xogyr|510100000021377

Thanks,
R. Singh

You could also try the slightly simpler:
Code:
awk -F '|' 'FNR==NR{a[$1];next}$3 in a' file1.txt file2.txt

Note that the order of the file arguments is reversed when compared to the script RavinderSingh13 suggested.

If you want to try this on a Solaris/SunOS system, change awk to /usr/xpg4/bin/awk or nawk.
