Thanks MadeInGermany, it works .
The question now , how extract the tar content( without base directory ).
Usually ,on local sever, i had to use :

--strip=1

but while executing on remote server im getting :

Code:
"tar: cannot open --strip=1"

any ideas , please ?

I don't know yet what --strip is for.
If your intention is to discard an initial path element from the file names in the tar file,
then you need pax. Or you change the process that creates the tar file.

path_2 = path_1/<some_dir>

, so i can just move the files one level back .
But what do you mean : "change the process that creates the tar file" ?
