How to delete some empty folders?

I have an amount of folders and I want to delete only the empty ones. But I have more than 200 empty folders, so I would preffer do not delete one by one... I know it is possible, but I don't know how. I've tried with the size, using 'du' command, and saving the result in a file. After that, I made

grep '0 ' file

because I supposed that only the addres with size 0 would appear...but it doesn't work. How could I do it easily?

Thanks in advance for any help Smilie

rmdir works only on empty directories, so:
Code:
rmdir * 2> /dev/null

will remove all empty directories in the current directory.

It also works with find
Code:
find . -depth -type d -links 2 -exec rmdir {} \;

The -links 2 tries to reduce the failing rmdir commands.
Append 2>/dev/null to suppress error messages.
GNU find has
Code:
find . -depth -type d -empty -delete
