Installing Redhat, Help! =(

Hello everyone, I want to host a mud and I found the cheapest way to do this was to install Linux on my computer and use it as the server. I downloaded both of the ISO images, it took 16 hours but i did it. But, I have no CD burner. I read that I could make a boot diskette, but how do i get boot.img out of an ISO file? I am running win 98.

Please help me!

I don't think you can just extract files from the .iso image without burning it to a CD. That is, without extensive tweaking. I don't want to say it can't be done, but it's most likely not worth the effort...

Next time, I suggest reading the README files and all installation notes from the website before downloading anything...

I personally suggest heading on over to cheapbytes to get a very cheap copy of everything you'll need to install Redhat (or any other version you'd like) for a few bucks.

I've never used it before, but it sounds like a great idea. I found this link for it:
http://www.ping.be/vcd/isobuster.htm
The download section is at the bottom.

Also, since it's Windows, be sure to virus scan it!

update: Maybe the correct URL is http://www.isobuster.com/ - I'm not sure which is more current, but the pages are similar.
