Assuming next day would mean "Today + 1"

Code:
ls -I "abc_$(($(date +%d) + 1).log" > output.file

in solaris,

Code:
dy=`date '+%d'`
 for files in `ls -l *.log`
 do
 if [ `echo $files | sed 's/\(.*\)_\(.*\)\.log/\2/'` -ne $dy ]
 then
 echo $files >> abc.list
 fi
 done

what is the meaning of -I option in ls

there is no such option in solaris !

Code:
       -I, --ignore=PATTERN
              do not list implied entries matching shell PATTERN

you cannot retrieve the date/time of creation of a file.
Only modification time of a file can be retrieved from inode
