Pset_info load_av

In Tru64 unix the command pset_info displays:

Code:
pset_id # cpus # pids # threads load_av created
  0 2 55 177 3.24 10/11/2006 13:16:42

under the heading load_av what is the value 3.24 telling me ?

Thanks

It is the load average of processor set 0, which the average number of processes in the wait queue. Since there are two CPU's in the processor set, the average is 1,62 per processor. I do not know over what period it is averaged, it may be only a 1 second interval, in which case it is not giving you much information..
