Hello all,
can we SFTP to the destination server in a non-interactive mode with out estbalishing the public key of origination server in the destination server? meaning i want to harcode the password as part of the below script or as an variable?
Please let me know if there is any better way to do it.

I did found out something online.
I put the above content in a file and doing
But for some reason its not logging anything if it is not able to connect to destination server or timed out stuff like that proper error log messages. There is no log file created in ~/.lftp. How can i achive this?

using the above command below is what is printed in stdout.
but when i try to redirect the output to the log like below it is erroring out, please help

I am using expect function for doing this.. below is the script i am using.
expect function included in tcl package or you can download it from any open source website.

Using expect to kludge passwords into ssl is a really bad idea. It is intentionally difficult to put passwords automatically into ssl. If you want it to be automatic, use shared keys.
