I think there is a misunderstanding: "ssh" is - for the purpose of how you use it - not a program in its own right. You use it to create a connection to another system, perhaps "whatbox.ca". Once you are connected to this system, ssh's role is reduced to relaying what you type as a command to the remote system and relaying back the output of said system to you. Your question amounts to "what do i have to type into the typewriter to write a book?"

I suggest you take the advice you got (from "them", whoever this may be) and read the manual of this "plowshare" software you installed. The manual will tell you how to use it, for instance by entering certain commands. These commands you enter in your ssh-window.

I hope this helps.

Surf to the site the team gave you. There is a part "Usage examples", which explains in quick examples how to use the plowshare software. Type what is standing there (with or without adjustments for your special purpose/situation) and watch what happens. Once you feel more comfortable with the software start experimenting with the more complex options/procedures. You should also read the rest of the users manual to learn about the options plowshare offers.

I hope this helps.
