the initial problem: I have used Sun Fire 445 server for some aplications running over solaris but now I have swap for a new server. I need to use the old for other thing but for windows applications.

Could you sell the Sparc and get an x86 machine instead? Even a slow x86 is going to be faster than running anything in full emulation.

Oracle offers a "take back" program. Maybe you can trade the V445 for an X system. You should talk to your sales rep.
