Custom icons for shell script

Hi,

Also posted in other forum.

I have an application that I wrote in C using the GTK toolkit that runs on the Linux system.

I have a shell script than when run executes two terminals to open a client and server application.

I would like to know more on how to create custom start-up icons for my program. ie. using company logo etc.

Anyone have some leads?

Thanks!

One way is that it depends on how you launch the terminals? The thing you're using to launch the terminals may allow you to set the title, icon, or start with a certain profile that allows you to customize the window.

The other way is to use a X resource name it it supports. See the man page for xterm to see the difference between starting xterms with arguments versus using .Xresource file attributes.
