Sed, last occurrence

How to find last occurrence of a keyword in a file using sed.
# 2
Reverse the file using tac, find and print the keyword in sed and quit.
# 3
Host doesn't have 'tac' command. For now what I tried is -

Code:
grep 'string' file | tail -1

Was wondering if sed might have a better way.
# 4
Code:
sed -n '/string/h;${x;p;}' file

Hold the last occurrence of the pattern "string"; put "string" into the pattern and print.
