IBM How to go to the line having a particular word?

Hi,
When i open a file (*.SUM*), I want the cursor to go to a line having a particular word (: ERROR). and that line should have the first occurrence word(: ERROR) from the beginning of the gvim file(*.SUM*)
Presently iam using the following command in my .gvimrc, but the cursor is going to the line having the second occurrence of the word (: ERROR)
autocmd BufReadPost *.SUM* /: ERROR
Plz help me out

Reopened, as the other thread was already closed. The thread fits here rather than in the experts forum anyways.

How would you "open a file"? With a text editor? (If yes: which one?) With any other program? With a can opener?

To get reasonable answers you might consider more or less precise questions. ;-))

Here is what you do if you use "vi":

vi +<line number> <file>

This will position the cursor at the first character of the line number given. "+" introduces a "ex" subcommand, which consists itself of a command and the line number it addresses. The command is just missing, only the line number is given, so the editor just goes there and does nothing.
