Network Slave hard disk

Hello,

After installing redhat linux to primary master harddisk, i connected one more hardisk containing fat file system harddisk as a slave. How can i see the files of slave disk(fat) from a linux

mount /dev/hdb1 /mnt


(hdb1 assumes it is the first partition on that disk)

You must insure your kernel has support built-in for the filesystem. If it does, you can mount it.

To add on to PxT's response above, you may need to use the "-t" option, for example:
mount -t fat32 /dev/hdb2 /mnt/fat
Check man mount for full details.
