Code:
echo "******Select option:******"
echo "1 - script1"
echo "2 - script2"
echo "3 - script3"
read option
echo "You have selected" $option"."
if [ "$option" = "1" ]
then script1.sh
elif["$option" = "2" ]then
script2.sh
elif["$option" = "3" ]then
script3.sh
else echo "Please try again from given options only."
fi

Here is the modified script.
Upon selecting any options now the outcome is :
Lets say i chose 2 :

Output :

You have selected 2.
Please try again from given options only.

Now the issue is in calling the scripts, it is not calling any.

Thanks.

You have not fixed the elif cases - i.e. you still have no spaces:

Change
Code:
elif["$option" = "2" ]then

To
Code:
elif [ "$option" = "2" ]; then

For example.

You should probably consult a good shell scripting tutorial to understand the bash syntax more thoroughly.

try

Code:
echo "******Select option:******"
echo "1 - script1"
echo "2 - script2"
echo "3 - script3"
read option
echo "You have selected" $option"."
if [ "$option" = "1" ]
then
script1.sh
elif [ "$option" = "2" ]
then
script2.sh
elif [ "$option" = "3" ]
then
script3.sh
else
echo "Please try again from given options only."
fi

You should also ensure the scripts you're calling are in your $PATH or else specified via absolute paths.
