How to MV without changing Time Stamp

Hi,
I need to move the set of files, and it should be same time stamp as previous.
How to do this?

Code:
cp -p

will preserve as many of the permissions and time information as your access will allow in the new directory.

Whoops - you wanted mv. POSIX mv doesn't have an option for that, that I'm aware of.

there is no -p flag with mv, but you can use cp -p file dest/and remove the original file.

if the destination dir is on the same partition i think you can also use ln
