You right guys the pr -124 it's behind a pipe like this....

You first posted -124, as in one.

Now you've posted -l24, as in the letter L.

That completely changes the meaning!

Your command:
1) lists whatever $1 is, presumably a folder, with long-style output
2) excludes directories from the listing(since they'll start with the letter d)
3) Puts it in pages of 24 lines
4) Displays it with more in pages of 24 lines

Hi Corona668 I have committed a mistake, the right way it's pr -l24 with L not numer 1. Sorry
