Question running yast

At the end of the installation of my video card driver's, there is this note on the isntruction from intel

1. Run SuSE's own configurator called 'YAST'
under System from SuSE application broswer menu
a. Select the 'Hardware' icon
b. Select the 'Graphics Card and Monitor' icon
c. Select 'Grapihcs desktop environment'radio button
d. Select 'Change'
e. Under 'Desktop' select 'Graphics Card'
f. Select 'Add new card'
g. Under 'General' tab, select 'Intel' and then '915G'
h. Accept all changes and exit 'YAST'

3. Log out of root or superuser

4. startx




having red hat 9, I wonder how can perform step one since it seems that yast is not in this system.

any help will be apretiate

Yast is a Suse only command. Try running redhat-config-display instead.

yeah I tried to do that but redhat is not able o read the rpm package

Try downloading a RPM for RedHat not SuSe.

installing phpmyadmin with yast
