If + multiple conditions
Hello Unix-Forums!
It has been a long time since my last post, but finally I've got a new question:

I know in case you can use multiple patterns by
Code:
case $var in
a|b|c|ab)

and so on.

But how would I place an OR between
Code:
if [[ condition a ]]
then
...
if [[ condition b ]]
then
...

I want to execute the "..." if condition a or b are true.

use || or -o
$ echo $a
10
$ echo $b
20


$ [[ "$a" -gt "20" || "$b" -lt "25" ]] && echo "True" || echo "False"
True

$ [[ "$a" -gt "20" || "$b" -lt "10" ]] && echo "True" || echo "False"
False

# 3
