How to convert non LVM root partition to LVM?

Hi Guys,

I m using redhat 6, I have installed root partition as non-LVM .

Is there any way i can convert it to LVM?

Yes, you can convert your non-LVM root to LVM.

If you have a Redhat subscription, see https://access.redhat.com/knowledge/articles/7374. It is an old article but still relevant.

If you do not have a Redhat subscription, an Internet search "redhat convert root to LVM" will turn up some useful howtos.
