Basic SAN LUN query

Hi guys,

We have created a LUN on SAN and assigned it to a server.

On top of it we have created 4 LVM shares which are holding the data.

Is it possible to add this LUN to some other server and access the data on LVM shares?(noob here)

There are things you can do and try then meditate on the result and consequences...
Yes you can...
I give you less than half an hour before you realize you have lost all your data...
And wait for you to explain here what has happened...
The only few cases where it could work is when there is a federating utility that takes care of writing instead of the OS on both servers...
Or when mounted as exclusive in a HA cluster - In other words only one server can access it though both servers can "see" the device.
