Question Cannot connect to socket

solaris client report "cannot to socket(code 25)" while trying to backup on veritas netbackup 6.5.5 server

(after a quick prayer to St Google)

Take a look at the Symantec Tech Note STATUS CODE 25: Backup jobs fail with Status 25 "cannot connect on socket -- your master server has run out of available ports. The resolution of this issue will depend on the OS of your master server.
