Checking for File Size

HI ,

How can I check if a file exists in a particular folder and it exists it size in greater than 0 kb.

Basically I am trying to write a script which will check if a file exists and if exists then it size is greater than 0 bytes (I am not looking for empty files it should have some data values in it). if the file doesnot exists then the script will return a status code 1 and if exists and the size is greater than 0 bytes the status code should be 0. based on this I am configuring a etl job.

Pls give me some idea on how to do this.

BR,Wang

you can see the test feature of unix.

if [ -s file1] , it will check what you want.
