Getting error while priniting
Hello Experts

while read eachline
do
  val $eachline| sed 's/[^/]*$//'
  echo $val
done < user/oracle/Test_admin/myfolder/bakup_new/part_bkptemp_part_bkp_repeated/list.txt

it not printing any value where I am missing pls help

you need to echo the value before the while loop.

example :

abcd

Rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: RPC: Authentication error; why = Failed (unspecified error)
