Please Help!

I have supplied graphics files which are being used on the web with the specified RGB web-safe color palette.

However, the person using them is saying that that same color palette displays the colors differently on Unix systems.

I need to provide a solution, but I know NOTHING about Unix systems. I'm also not much of a web savvy user.

So, if anyone has any ideas, please let me know... and if you can put them in layman's terms that would help immensely.

So far, all I have found is this:

Thanks,
M.

rgb.txt

I'm not a graphics expert , but on etip for X windows colormap is that the color names are taken froma file called rgb.txt where you can add your new colors definion by its three RGB components value 0-255

just search : find /usr -name "rgb.txt" since its location varies between Unixes.

Hope that helps..
