can i map network drive without using username/password via windows?

can i map (net use ) network drive in unix (aix6.10) ?

net use x: \\servername\folder - worked fine in windows, can i use this syntax or alternative way for this ?

SAMBA is open source, can be installed on almost any platform, and has many authentication options and configurations. You need to map some sort of trust on the server side to log in / mount passwordless.

You might start with a new item entitled SMB or SAMBA to find SAMBA/SMB experts.

If you're going to use a completely hopeless one-word subject title, you should at least have the sense to spell it correctly.
