Restrict user access.
Hi All,
How can we restrict a particular user access to a particular shell in solaris 10.

Do you mean a restricted shell like rsh:

usermod -s /bin/rsh  username

Or do you mean allow the user to have only ksh (for example)? In this case you will have to chroot the user.

This shows how to chroot an sftp user. This is exactly the same as what you want to do.

chroot sshd/sftp
