Looking for application that simplifies for non techie people accessing unix/linux env
Hello all
I searched the net but didn't found any application that wrap ssh connection with GUI interface so that non techie
people can connect to unix/linux accounts and work with files , so it will looks like there familiar Microsoft windows directory structure .
Please don't answer with .. just use xserver and such must of our servers don't have any GUI installed .

I'm confused. Are you just looking for some wrapper on scp, so they can copy files back and forth? Or are you looking for some full-fledged thing that makes UNIX pretend to be Windows, with all the applications and everything?

yes wrapper
no samba and yes ssh also , i need GUI wrapper on top of ssh and sftp i guess just click on it and you connected with GUI display

But what would you expect a graphical wrapper on top of ssh to be? ssh stands for secure shell, after all. If you need anything more than a graphical terminal you'll need to be much, much more specific about what you want it to do as it'll be pretty specialized.

For sftp, try filezilla.

this is for peaple that dont what to learn unix commands
and afraid from term like "unix" "Linux" , to ease there pain
