Canīt logout to user inactive

I have SCO OpenServer release 5

I used TIMEOUT and TMOUT in .profile but I donīt Know if is correctly

What shell are you running? In the Korn Shell, TMOUT defines the number of seconds the shell remains inactive before it terminates. That is to say, the shell has to be inactive (dont touch the keyboard!) for the number of seconds you define before a logout will occur.

How to logout inactive users????

I would like to automatically logout from the system inactive users depending on their functions. For example there are users that I would like to logout after 15 minutes of inactivity, but there are others that I would like to logout after 30 minutes of inactivity. It's possible to do this???
